Experience
Mike has a BA & MSc in Financial Economics and is a Chartered Accountant who worked initially in the profession for Price Waterhouse Coopers.

After that, he spent over 20 years as a Finance Director in industry, involved in various sectors. For many years he was Finance Director of gearbox manufacturer Flender Power Transmission, now part of the Siemens Automation & Drives Group. During this period he was responsible for the successful growth and development of group manufacturing subsidiaries throughout the world.

Subsequently, he became Group Finance Director of Integrated Micro Products. IMP designed and manufactured high performance computer systems in both the UK & USA. Through organic growth and acquisition, the company grew into a world renowned organisation, which was ultimately acquired by Sun Microsystems.

Role
Since then, Mike has used his first hand experience to join forces with a number of developing companies, to provide them with the critical support and guidance they need in order to grow and succeed. He is now delighted to team up with Scott Logic and help steer the Company on its ambitious growth programme to become the UK’s leading international provider of outsourced software to the financial institution market.
