Scott Logic is pleased to announce the names of the prize winning students for 2009, who will each receive £200.

Scott Logic’s Excellence in Computer Science Awards programme awards top performing Computer Science undergraduates from Durham, Newcastle, and Heriot Watt Universities.

Scott Logic is therefore pleased to announce the names of the prize winning students who will each receive £200:

• Steven Shiells (Heriot Watt)
• Martin Carolan (Durham)
• Viktor Georgiou (Newcastle)

While the runners-up will each receive £100:

• Stephen Montgomery, Valerie Gibson, Drew Forster, David Dunsmore (Heriot Watt)
• Joseph Carroll, Philip Barley, Chris Watson, Tom McNaughton (Durham)
• John C Mace, Anastasia Steiner, Marek Jaworski, Sam Hogarth (Newcastle)

In addition, each student will receive a fast-track application form, which will guarantee them an interview at Scott Logic, and a personalised glass award, hand-made by The National Glass Centre, Sunderland.
