Scott Logic hosted a reception at their Newcastle offices to present awards in Scott Logic’s Excellence in Computer Science Awards programme. The programme rewards the top performing 2nd year undergraduates in Computer Science at the Universities of Newcastle and Durham.
The winning students who both receive £200 were Martin Carolan (Durham) and Viktor Georgiou (Newcastle). The runners-up, who all receive £100, are Joseph Carroll, Phillip Barley, Chris Watson, Tom McNaughton (Durham) and John C Mace, Anastasia Steiner, Marek Jaworski, Sam Hogarth (Newcastle).
In addition, each student received a fast-track application form which guarantees them an interview at Scott Logic and a personalised glass award hand-made by The National Glass Centre, Sunderland.
