Experience
Before joining Scott Logic, David worked as a consultant to two leading investment banks. He worked for four years in Morgan Stanley’s Private Wealth Management division, developing trading and asset management tools, and for one year with Deutsche Bank, supporting the Program Trading desk. Previously David had spent five years with British Airways, developing applications to support Internet sales, and six years creating network models for British Gas.

Role
At Scott Logic, David leads a team developing research tools for the website of one of our major clients. He works with the client in several areas within Fixed Income (FX, Interest Rates, Securitized Products and Structured Products) and in Equity Research. He is also involved in developing common tools and infrastructure for the client. David's role involves being the primary point of contact with the customer, with overall responsibility for the quality and timely delivery of projects. As his team has grown, the amount of code he writes has decreased, but he is still involved in project analysis and design.

David holds a BA (Hons) in Natural Sciences (First Class) from Cambridge University.
