If you want a crosshair, I would recommend using visiblox chart. It has a cross-hair out-of-the-box and is much faster too!

Greetings!
Thanks for your efforts with the location crosshair; it neatly fulfills a design requirement on a WPF project I'm working on. There is one fly in the soup; I'd like to be able to show the value of a LineSeries (from the WPF Charting toolkit) where the vertical crosshair line intersects it. Any thoughts or ideas (or examples :p)?

Thanks for the great hints and tips. I haven't utilised Microsoft Silverlight and we are currently in the process of updating our services and tools. It might be a good additional to a certain section. Cheers

Hi Gizi ... in my example PlotArea has an explicit height set so PlotArea.Height should work. However, you are totally right ... I really should be using ActualHeight instead in order to make it more flexible.

Also, thanks for pointing out ActualAxes as well.

Good call :-)

Regards, Colin E.
