Scott Logic provides the very best in bespoke financial software for leading international financial institutions. We offer a rare opportunity outside London for this type of work. You will help build complex business-critical systems, ranging from sophisticated graphical research analysis tools through to back-office settlement platforms. You will use cutting-edge technologies whether it’s developing rich internet applications, mobile application or robust service-oriented systems.

At Scott Logic we aim to get the work-life balance right. The work is demanding but that doesn’t mean you should have to work all hours. We enjoy great city-centre locations in Bristol, Edinburgh, and Newcastle Upon Tyne, cities that have lots to offer. From our three development centres we are able to work on high-tech financial projects for our London and New York based investment bank clients, whilst having a much more pleasant journey to work and fast access to some of the most beautiful countryside in Britain.

Outside of the office there is a good range of social activities. The running club caters for those who enjoy a little exercise at lunch time or the odd race, and a Scott Logic boat won first prize in the Durham all-comers rowing regatta last year. For the less sporty, you’ll usually find many of us in the local pub on a Friday night.
