On Sunday March 16th, Scott Logic took on a very different challenge as seven of their consultants threw themselves off the Tyne Bridge in the name of charity!

The team took part in the annual Marie Curie Cancer Care Tyne Bridge Abseil, and rose over £1300 for the charity in the process.

Louisa Bradley, a Business Development Consultant at Scott Logic, said, “Many of our team have had family members affected by cancer. When we heard about the Tyne Bridge Abseil in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care, it seemed the perfect opportunity to do something incredible and also raise money to support people with cancer and their families here in the North East.”

The Scott Logic employees joined over 150 supporters taking part in the Tyne Bridge Abseil, and all the money raised will be used to provide free nursing care provision for cancer patients both at the charity’s local Newcastle Hospice and in patients’ homes across the North East.

Local Marie Curie Cancer Care fundraiser Margaret Musgrave said, “We are delighted that the Scott Logic team joined our Tyne Bridge abseil. We very much rely on support from local companies and individuals to help us, and our thanks go to them and everyone who took part in The Tyne Bridge Abseil.”
