Scott Logic rewards local talent
08th October 2008
Scott Logic recently announced the extension of its Excellence in Computer Science Awards programme to include Heriot Watt University; this reflects the importance Scott Logic places on rewarding, and hopefully retaining, the top talent in both Scotland and the North East of England.
Scott Logic is therefore pleased to announce the names of the prize winning students who will each receive £200:
- Jonathan Eadie (Heriot Watt)
- Peter Scopes (Durham)
- Duncan White and Thomas McKee (joint winners from Newcastle)
While the runners-up will each receive £100:
- Fraser Blackmun, Scott Watson, Scott Wilson and Pawel Orzechowski (Heriot Watt)
- David Williams, Dan Perren, Ralph Weatherburn and Nicholas Moore (Durham)
- Michael Bell, Alexander Walton and Martin Simmons (Newcastle)
In addition, each student will receive a fast-track application form, which will guarantee them an interview at Scott Logic, and a personalised glass award, hand-made by The National Glass Centre, Sunderland.
